This Florestan son is a
delightful companion and has that wonderful temperament. Believe me I
know - we picked him up at LAX airport not on the usual quarantine side as he
was coming from Hawaii. He bless his heart in the middle of the night calmly
looked around a busy transport cargo loading dock with no facilities and ooh
o.k. walked with me into the street past two huge (53ft cargo transport trucks)
and walked into the trailer without so much as a snort. Then off-loaded
in front of my place at 4:00am in the morning - very dark and walked down to
his pen as if to say - its fine just point me to the hay and water
:-) what a guy!!
We have been working with this fine Florestan gelding and he is fun and has a very easy going personality. His kind eye and soft heart has not changed a bit. He has been developing quite nicely and will give his all to anyone who asks - a true favorite in the barn.

This gentle gelding is the perfect teacher and confidence
builder. He is 17.1 and does not ride like a big horse. He was imported as a
4-year-old. He has had lots of show experience up to Third level. Always in the
60's and has scores in the 70's! He is schooling piaffe and
passage. Chico has great half-steps, and a baby passage improving everyday. He
is perfect for the competitive Adult Amateur or a Junior rider. He loves to
show off in the show ring. This guy can take you up the levels!
No soundness or heath issues ever and a fantastic value for
the price. After arrival we will reevaluate and may reprice him higher. We
will honor the current price to anyone expressing interest prior to our
reevaluating him.
Chico Clips, bathes, hauls and he is great outside. He is a very reliable
horse, even after time off you can take him outside and he is the same as when
you left. Although he is calm, he is not dull off the leg and is light in the
contact.

Rocky is well started with good training, schooling SOLID 3rd level.
